The Sales Engineer will be responsible for managing sales of the Industrial Cooling business in the assigned Area.
He/she will be responsible for the product sales from all factories where Industrial Cooling products are manufactured.
The Sales Engineer works independently to maximize the goals assigned, deciding autonomously on any single position (customers).
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify market/customer requirements and specifications, develop and execute the strategies and tactics for growth of orders and profitability in the agreed sales territory;
Establish new and maintain existing relationships with customers;
Regular customer visits and reporting;
Provide pre-sales technical assistance, defining and provide technical-commercial solutions to customers;
Drive creative solution to minimize the importance of price and maximize the differentiated values of product;
Be aware of and share any important information about market trends;
Monitor competitor behaviour;
Monitor customer payments behaviour in collaboration with the credit department, adjusting the credit limit according to the situation;
Participate in the annual budget-setting process and be able to comment on relative prospects;
Report regularly on market trends, competition strategies and customer behaviour which may affect business strategies and on quotation and project potential.
Technical education or Bachelor’s engineering degree;
Fluent in English both written and spoken and the Dutch language;
At least 3 to 5 years of professional experience in Sales and Business Development in companies directly or indirectly operating in the Industrial Cooling business, renewable business, energy business, EPCs..;
Proven experience in international sales management and motivation working in a matrix organization;
Minimum experienced self-standing Sales Manager delivering solutions and managing business development in the assigned area.
OTHER DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in the field of heat-transfer, or air heat-exchangers;
