SEST SpA is the European market leader in the production of heat exchanger finned coils for the commercial refrigeration and air conditioning sectors.

Founded in 1974 as a supplier to a leading refrigerated counter manufacturer, it has undergone a dramatic expansion in the last 30 years. This has seen it grow into a large company today with three manufacturing facilities: the main one in Italy in Limana, a second in Poland (SEST-LU-VE Polka in Gliwice), and a third in Russia (“OOO” SEST-LU-VE in Lipetsk).

The company has a cataphoretic electrocoating plant. This technology has greatly evolved in recent years to become now the method preferred by the automobile industry, instead of the anaphoretic process. Electrocoating is used in all applications where high resistance to corrosion is demanded, in particular to organic acids, and where deep penetration and extensive coverage is required even in angles and undercuts.
