Process Quality Engineer
Location
We are looking for a Process Quality Engineer to support LU-VE Plant in Italy.
In your role, you will report to the Quality Health Safety Environment QHSE Manager. Your location will be in LU-VE S.p.A:, Uboldo (VA), Italy.
WHAT YOUR TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
- To oversee the specific stages of the production process, define quality standards, and draw up control plans
- To open and manage the internal NC for the area of its competence
- To define corrective actions following complaints from the market
- To define an action plan for reducing the Non-Quality costs for the area of its competence
- To supervise the qualitative work during the processing phases
- To verify that the product characteristics correspond to the LU-VE specifications and to propose technical solutions to remove defects found, interfacing with all the functions involved
- To manage, in collaboration with production, NC material (segregation, selection, recovery, scrapping) and to account for the alignment
- To contribute to the drafting and/or review of Procedures and Operating Instructions to support process monitoring
- To contribute to the specific training of production operators (QCP; PQ; IQ)
- To perform mechanical laboratory tests and quality control of semi-finished and finished products to assess and classify any defects
YOUR EXPERIENCE
- From 0 to 3 years of experience in the same role in structured companies
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, management, electric, electronic) and/or master degree in engineering
- Language skill: English (fluent)
- Software knowledge: Office, SAP (plus), CAD (plus)
OTHER KNOWLEDGE
- PDCA approach for implementation of action plans
- 8D, 5W approach for NC resolution
- Knowledge of the structure of an SGQ according to the ISO9001 standard
- Measuring systems for quality control using specific instruments
- Statistical data collection and processing techniques
- Ability to relate with all the business functions that can intervene in the activities of its competence.
